Accessibility Statement

Last updated 30 July 2026

Our commitment

Limerick Sports Partnership is committed to making this site usable by everyone, including people using assistive technology.

What this statement covers

This statement covers the booking site, the tickets and confirmation emails it sends, and the events listing on the main limericksports.ie site. It does not cover the staff-only administration area used to manage events, venues and bookings.

Conformance status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, with the specific exceptions listed below.

Known limitations

  • Ticket PDF attachments are structured and tagged for screen readers, including a text description of the QR code, but do not yet fully meet the PDF/UA-1 technical standard in two minor respects (a couple of purely decorative page elements aren't explicitly marked as decorative, and one embedded font's metadata is incomplete).
  • The reading order on ticket PDF pages does not yet exactly match the visual layout in every case — a small ticket-number badge is announced slightly before the event title.
  • The events listing on limericksports.ie is being updated to announce image descriptions to screen readers; this update is built and tested and is being rolled out.
  • Some form controls (for example, one dropdown on the sign-up form) may report a minor technical inconsistency to assistive technology; none of these prevent completing a booking.

Report an accessibility problem

If you experience any accessibility barrier using this site, please let us know: info@limericksports.ie

It helps to include the page you were on and what happened. We aim to respond and address genuine barriers as quickly as we can.

How we assessed this site

This statement is based on a self-assessment against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, using automated testing across light and dark themes plus manual review, as of 30 July 2026.
